Kristie Wang is a Pushcart Prize-nominated fiction writer, freelance journalist, and digital content strategist. She received an MFA from Cornell University and a BA in English from UCLA.

Her fiction has appeared in SLICE Magazine, and Grist Journal. Her articles have appeared in, GQ Magazine, The Rockefeller Foundation blog, The Christian Science Monitor,, Solutions Journal, Business Fights Poverty, and NextBillion. Kristie writes about social entrepreneurship and innovations poised to change the world. On occasion, she writes about food and drink for Edible Magazine and Tales of the Cocktail. She also consults with nonprofits and corporations like Microsoft, advising organizations on how to leverage strategic storytelling to engage their supporters.
