Kristie Wang is a Pushcart Prize-nominated fiction writer, freelance journalist, and a media manager at Ashoka Changemakers. She received an MFA from Cornell University and a BA in English from UCLA.

Her fiction has appeared in SLICE Magazine, and is forthcoming in Grist. Her articles have appeared in, GQ Magazine, The Rockefeller Foundation blog, The Christian Science Monitor,, Solutions Journal, Business Fights Poverty, and NextBillion. As a frequent contributor to Ashoka’s column, Kristie writes about social entrepreneurship and innovations that stand to change the world. She also consults with nonprofits and social businesses on how to leverage strategic storytelling to increase their impact. She recently helped Communities for Clean Water develop key messaging and launch their web site.
